Linear Blur

The Linear (Motion) Blur filter applies blur in a single direction, simulating movement from camera or object motion. It’s ideal for adding visual momentum or smoothing transitional effects.

Parameters:
Blur Type "Constant" produces true motion blur; "Soft" applies subtle directional blur. One-Way types also simulate implied motion.
Size Controls blur strength. Values range from -4.0 to 4.0. Negative values reverse the blur direction in One-Way modes.
Direction Sets the angle of the blur. 1.0 equals a full rotation (360°). You can animate this value for rotating directional blur.
