Variable Linear Blur – Radial Mask
This filter uses a radial mask to control linear motion blur across the frame. Ideal for framing a subject or emphasizing movement at the edges while keeping the center crisp. Animate mask center or rotation for dynamic tracking.

Parameters: | |
Blur Type | "Constant" simulates true motion blur; "Soft" applies gentler directional shifts. One-Way modes add kinetic energy. |
Size | Blur intensity from -4.0 to 4.0. Negative values invert direction for One-Way variations. |
Direction | Rotation angle for blur orientation. 1.0 equals a full 360°, values up to 100.0 animate smoothly. |
Round | Toggle between circular mask shape and frame aspect ratio. |
Distribution | Controls blur strength across the mask. Above 0.5 = stronger edges; below 0.5 = center emphasis. |
Center X, Y | Set the radial mask’s origin. Keyframe to follow your subject’s motion. |
