Dynamic Gaussian Blend

This filter applies time-varying Gaussian Blur to the source and blends the result with the original. Click here to see variation controls in detail.

Dynamic Soft Look
Dynamic Opacity

Parameters:

Size
Controls the blur power. Value of 1.0 sets the maximum blur, but you can enter in edit field values up to 4.0 and get  more blur, but with a slightly reduced quality.
Variation Controls Blur power variations. In this filter you have full control over Size variations - Random, Variation and Speed/Density controls. Value of 1.0 sets the maximum variation, but you can enter in edit field values from -10.0 to 10.0 and get extreme Blur power variations.
Blend Mode
Select blend mode. Almost all known blending modes are realized here.
Opacity
Controls the blend opacity. Value of 0.0 is equal to 0% opacity (base image) 1.0 is equal to 100% opacity (blended image). But while most effects stop here in Gaussian Blend you can get mix between blended and blurred image (values in range 1.0-2.0). Plus - you can enter in edit field values from -20.0 to 20.0 and get other unusial effects.
Variation Time-varying blending opacity produce random fade between original, blended and/or blurred image, depending on Opacity value and Variation power. You have full control over Opacity variations - Random, Variation and Speed/Density controls. Variation edit field accept values from -10.0 to 10.0. In "Add" random mode or with a high variation values the resulting Opacity value can get out of the 0.0-2.0 range and produce flash, negative and other unusual effects.

Variable brightness in light image areas
Flash/negative effect in dark image areas

Small Opacity variations can randomly vary the brightness in dark, in light areas, or over the whole image. Values out of 0.0-2.0 range can produce new, never seen before and sometimes very unusual dynamic effects.
