Many of AnyFX
effects have "Dynamic" versions where you can add a random value to
some effect parameter(s) and get dynamic effects. Randomized parameters
are usually represented by a group of 3 to 5 controls:
-The first slider controls the parameter value itself.
-Random menu [optional] - you
can select the random mode here. If this
menu is missing - the default random mode is Multiply.
Add mode - a random
value varying between 0 and Variation will be
added to the parameter value. In this mode
the resulting value can exceed the parameter range. This is useful with
parameters like Blending Opacity where going out of range produces
interesting flashes and negative effects.
Myltiply mode - a
random value varying between 0 and Variation will
be multiplyed by the parameter value. In this mode the
resulting value vary in range from 0.0 to Parameter.
-Variation [optional] -
controls how much the value vary over time.
