• As a transition:
From the Effects window (Video Transitions > Pixelan folder), drag
AnyFX onto a cut point between two clips in any track, or onto the
beginning or end of a single clip. AnyFX will appear in Effect Controls
palette. In the Effect Controls palette, click the Custom button. The
AnyFX effect’s window will then appear.
• As a video effect:
From the Effects window (Video Effects > Pixelan folder), drag and
drop AnyFX onto a clip. AnyFX will appear in Effect Controls palette.
In the Effect Controls palette, click the Setup button to the right of
the AnyFX name. The AnyFX effect’s window will then appear.

Vegas Movie Studio
• As a transition: Overlap two
events in the SAME video track of your Vegas timeline, automatically
creating a crossfade transition as shown below.

Then drag AnyFX from the Transitions (or Plug-Ins) window/pane onto the
crossfade. Or right-click the crossfade and choose Transition
Properties, then double-click AnyFX. The Event FX window for AnyFX will
appear, as shown below.

Click the “Click Here” button to have AnyFX’s
full interface then appear.
• As a video effect:
Drag and drop AnyFX from the Video FX (or Plug-Ins) window/pane onto
any event in your Vegas timeline. Or, click the Event FX button in an
event’s timeline icon, then choose AnyFX in the Plug-In Chooser dialog.
In the Event FX window for AnyFX (shown above), click the “Click Here”
button to have AnyFX’s full interface then appear.
How to Choose Pre-Made Effects
Now click Load Saved Settings button at the bottom black bar of AnyFX ,
as shown below, then choose any effect file within the Effects folder
that will appear. We have organized the effects into subfolders for
your convenience.

Single-click any saved setting to quickly preview and compare it with
others. Double-click your final choice.

How to Access the Built-In Tutorials &
Help
For general AnyFX help click the round ? button (shown below) in the
lower black bar area of AnyFX window. Or click the ? button in the top
right corner of the window (or tap the F1 key), then click any control
you want to learn about.

For effect help move the mouse over Info
button to see a pop-up effect description or move the mouse pointer
over controls to see a parameter description.
