The Channel Mixer effect modifies the colors
combining the values of the current RGB channels. This allows you to
make a wide range of color adjustments not easily done with the other
tools: From color enhancements to B/W film simulations, from minor
tints to channel swaps and color space conversions. Mask controls allow
you to adjust colors only where your subject is rather than over the
entire image, or only in outer areas to softly frame your subject.

Combining
the
values
of the Red, Green and Blue channels you can make a wide range of
color adjustments - from boosting of colors, to B/W film simulation,
but while the Hue/Saturation corrector increase or decrease saturation
for all colors, in Channel Mixer you can make much more. You can boost
mostly Red, Green or Blue channel, desaturate mostly Red, Green or Blue
channel, simulate many old film color spaces (color and B/W).
This image simulates the colors of old two-color Technicolor film.

Mask
controls
allow you to adjust colors only where your subject is rather than over
the entire image, or only in outer areas to softly frame your subject.
In this image the colors softly fade from the original colors in the
center to sepia effect at the frame edge.
