Brightness and Contrast - Linear Mask
RGB Brightness and Contrast - Linear Mask

These Brightness and Contrast filters allow you to control the Brightness and Contrast level within the frame. You could adjust Brightness and Contrast only at some image side rather than over the entire image, thus to correct only the near plane, only the sky or other image area. The wide control range allows you to softly fade some frame side to white, to black and even to negative (Contrast under -1.0). The RGB version have separate sliders for R, G and B channels and allows you to adjust colors or tint some image side.

Parameters:

Brightness
Value of 0.0 = no change. Positive - brighten image. Negative - darken image.
Contrast
Value of 0.0 = no change. Positive - more contrast. Negative - less contrast.
Area Controls how large the effect area is. Value of 0.0 - none, value of 1.0 - the whole image.
Side Controls the position of the effect area. It is actually an angle to the effect area toward image center. 0-left, 0.25-top, 0.5-right, 0.75-bottom.
Distribution Higher values soften the boundary of the effect mask.

You could adjust Brightness and Contrast (and colors with "RGB Brightness and Contrast") only at some image side rather than over the entire image, thus to correct only the near plane, only the sky or other image area.
